I am an Assistant Professor in McMaster University's philosophy department.

I am a Research Associate at the African Centre for Epistemology and Philosophy of Science at the University of Johannesburg.

I was a Fellow-in-Residence at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. And I served as an Assistant Professor in California State University, San Bernardino's philosophy department.

I specialize in philosophy of race,  epistemology and Latin American philosophy.

In my work, I focus on how racial injustice and colonialism relate to epistemic phenomena such as understanding and ethical phenomena such as blame.

Here is an APA interview that I did.

Here and here are podcast episodes of the Always Already and Philosophy In Color podcasts in which I discuss my work.
